Mesh Bag

Essential in holding your gear and keeping it nicely organized while on deck and in the water. Will also allow for gear to dry out and not ruin.

Kickboard

Used everyday in some capacity. 50% of your speed comes from the legs. Used to isolate and train leg muscles.

Fins

Used often. Can simulate speed which can give the swimmer a better feel for the water. Can also provide more stability in the stroke to provide for a cleaner technique.

Paddles

Like fins for your hands, paddles can provide more stability in the stroke, and increase the leverage on power points.

Pull Buoy

Foam piece that goes between the legs in order to ensure that the legs cannot kick and that the arms are the only driving force within the swim.

Snorkel

Used more often than you would think. Can provide excellent technique assistance with keeping the head in still position as the swimmer is accelerating. 

Goggles

Please have 2 pairs of goggles, one for racing and meets, and one for practice.

Goggles are important, we use them every day. If your swimmer has a pair of cheap goggles, they will spend more time trying to fix them or trying to get them to fit right, than they will spend time practicing. Please please please invest in some Speedo or Arena goggles to ensure this is no problem for your swimmer!
