YES, your swimmers will be using the required equipment in some capacity each practice beginning after the first week. Please find the equipment list here:

Yes, every swimmer is meet eligible so long as they have completed their registration with USA Swimming and has a valid USA Swimming ID. 

You can complete the USA Swimming registration using the link provided below: Each Swimmer will need to complete this registration, even if they do not plan to swim in any meets. There is a small fee associated to registering. You do not need to do this, if your swimmer is already registered with USA Swimming.

The second batch of outfitting will be in towards the end of October, and will be delivered to the Audrey Moore Pool. I will be distributing out the gear during practice, once it has arrived. This also applies to the Hockey Jerseys that 3rd year swimmers are receiving. 

Yes! The Potomac Marlins will hold one team event each month, when details about such event are prevalent, they will be emailed out to everyone. I will ofcourse try to update everyone on when these events happen so that our teammates can make some friends from our other Potomac Marlins locations!

Yes, coaches are required to give atleast a 4 hour advanced notice that there will not be practice. I always try to notify one day at a minimum in advanced but it is always a good rule of thumb to check your email before leaving for practice.

Yes, at a minimum some dryland stretching each day to work our bodies to become more flexible.
